Perhaps even better than the pizza was the anticipation of the pizza. The Animalz team probably sent 100+ slack messages expressing excitement and debating pizza preferences in the week leading up to the delivery. It was an easy and fun way to generate enthusiasm and allow for some of the relaxed silliness that can be hard to generate with a fully remote team.
