Dr. Edward R. McInnis, Lt. (N), MD, CCFP, is a dedicated professional with a distinguished career in family and emergency medicine. With ten years of experience in emergency and trauma care and sixteen years as a family physician, he has contributed significantly to healthcare. Outside of his medical work, he is a father of four, a lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces, a Navy reservist, and an active volunteer in his community. Born and raised in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, he is the eldest of four children. From an early age, he showed a keen interest in sports, participating in hockey, baseball, tennis, and golf. He excelled in Junior A hockey, caught the attention of the Boston Red Sox as a pitcher, and later added weightlifting to his routine.
