Dr. Kamran Massoumi, a distinguished ophthalmologist, leads the Oklahoma Eye Institute and Omni Surgical Center in Lawton, Oklahoma. Born in Tehran in 1967, he was inspired by his maternal grandfather, an early pioneer in Iranian ophthalmology. After relocating to the U.S. during the Iran-Iraq War, he excelled at the University of California, Berkeley. He continued his medical studies at St. Louis University Medical School, completing his residency at Case Western University. In 2002, Dr. Massoumi chose Western Oklahoma to address the critical shortage of eye care, founding his practice, which has significantly advanced local healthcare.
