I'm Don, an independent developer, and I wanted to say hello and share a project I've been pouring my time into recently.

Like a lot of people tracking fitness or health goals, I got completely burnt out by bloated calorie apps. I hated having to type out exact weight measurements or click through five sub-menus just to log a basic breakfast. It felt like a second job.

So, I decided to build CoreFit AI to fix my own frustration. I wanted a clean, single-page dashboard where I could just type a meal exactly how I'd say it naturally (e.g., "corn on the cob with melted butter"), snap a package barcode with Gemini vision, or tap a quick shortcut for my morning coffee. I also ended up building in a smart water tracker, milestone badges to keep myself accountable, and a tool that gives you meal ideas based strictly on whatever macros you have left for the day.
