QuarterTimePlan the remainder of the quarter or your next big project

Hi there! π I'm sharing with you a little tool I made for myself. Sometimes it's easy to lose track of time and have deadlines get you caught off-guard. Especially when you have some vacations planned. You're like "pfft, there's plenty of timeβ¦" and then the invitable "oh, shit" moment comes. The idea behind this tool is to give you a concrete, *visual* view of exactly how many workdays and...

There was a low chance of robots taking my job and now it seems I dodged another bullet by being a software developer. Cool project! Also, the website crashed a couple of times due to the alpha WebM video. It doesn't seem to affect a lot of users, but you might want to watch out. You can check my report in the Chromium issue tracker for more info:...

Greetings! π A couple months ago, I was debugging a JSON API in PHP and I was having a hard time. I needed information from PHP but I couldn't output anything in the response because it would break the JSON formatting. Therefore, I looked for a debugging tool. I tried several and Xdebug seemed to be the best. The problem was that I had issues with its Sublime Text plugin and it also slowed down...

When I check how many people don't follow Kim Kardashian: http://www.realitycheck5000.com/... I get the same number as the one for people who don't follow me: http://www.realitycheck5000.com/... Given that there's a 140 million follower difference, that doesn't seem right. Pros: Nope. Cons: It doesn't do the only thing it says it does.

When it came out more than a year ago, I thought it was very confusing and crazy. That CSS in JS part was stopping me from using it up until a few months ago. I just thought it would be some high-tech sci-fi overkill. When I tried Tailwind, I was amazed at how simple and adaptable it is. It was really, actually, just the tool I needed. From then on, I can't imagine a project without it, big or...

It doesn't stand in your way of creating a unique look. I like to call it a toolbox, not a framework because there are no frames or boundaries. You do what you want/need. If you can't do something, you create a plugin in 3 minutes and then you can. Pros: Modular, extensible, fluid, easy to use. Cons: Tailwind is too cool for cons, man.

Seems very cool! I really like the idea. Some feedback: - When you're in dark mode and you open a new tab, the screen is completely white, then the intercom icon appears and suddenly, the app is rendered on top of all that. I think the screen should turn dark as fast as possible, even better if that happens instantaneously. It could be pretty hurtful for your eyes during the night. - Load and...

I had some trouble understanding what the product does in the beginning. You can mock ideas, create stories from these mocks. Took me some time to realize it's a combination of JSFiddle and Medium. Initially, I thought that you need to write code _in order to_ make the story. So basically I thought it's a more complex way of writing stories about code. Then I realized you can just use it as a...

I've been using Kirby 2 for well over a year on projects big and small. I've developed plugins for it too, the most powerful one of which allows you to translate your content via the popular TMS, Memsource. Kirby is that flexible, yes. You can make it work the way you need it to. I can't wait to get into Kirby 3! Pros: - Active community - Nested structured fields - Vue running the admin panel...

I made this to sum up my experience with my unsuccessful launches and to go back to it whenever I notice I might be spending too much time on something. It delivers a message that's important for every maker to see, I think.

Seems pretty unreadable on smaller font sizes. Take a look at my comparison to Consolas: https://i.imgur.com/00XITH6.png The font color isn't changed, it's just that Parse Grotesk is thinner and it appears as if the color is lighter. It also looks blurry. And the number "5" looks more like a backwards "C". I think I'm gonna stick with the free, more readable, widely spread font that I've always...
