Where do you think we actually are on the road to AI surpassing us?

Back in college I had a homework assignment about the singularity the idea that once we build something genuinely more intelligent than us, that thing builds something smarter than itself, and it compounds from there. It stuck with me more than 10 years.

What I keep turning over now is how fuzzy "more intelligent than us" actually is. Today's models are extraordinary at some things. They read everything, remix it, and sound convincing, but they still fail in very human ways the moment you ask them to reason about cause and effect, or to build something that has to hold up in the real world. Being brilliant at language isn't the same as understanding.

So I'm genuinely unsure where the line is, and I'd rather hear how others see it than guess.

From four words to a whole product

I joined this team a few months ago, and honestly it's been one of the craziest stretches of my career.

Rewind three or four years before this AI era really hit, writing code was the hard part. Slow, painful, every feature a grind. You measured progress in weeks.

Now I watch how in Autonomyware three/four words and it comes back with the entire product: the requirements, the 3D model, the risk analysis, the whole chain. The first time I saw it run end to end, I just kind of sat there. The speed still doesn't feel real, even building it from the inside.

Do you work on weekends?

For me, I finish the tasks I didn t complete during the week, then try to get ahead on a few things.

And I always finish my weekend by preparing my tasks for the next week.

I know some founders completely disconnect on weekends, but I ve never really managed to do that

What about you? Do you work on weekends or completely switch off?
