About

Shegby is a peer-to-peer identity and trust protocol designed for people who value privacy and human-level credibility. Drawing on years of experience in digital forensics and global travel, it addresses a fundamental question: how can strangers trust each other online? Powered by HumanRank, a PageRank-inspired algorithm, Shegby enables users to verify each other without the need for centralised KYC. There is no blockchain-stored data or global registry — just people vouching for people. We're developing a decentralised identity layer for independent individuals and communities, beginning with the Bitcoin and Nostr ecosystems. Feel free to donate! It helps us a lot. lunin.btc: bc1qjlynnng85n6wlyfl8dykyzulamtr57vrhzfmeq shegby.btc: bc1qpcxf8l8c9w6ms7vhl9cgc0xja7k7qrq79gc96n

Anyone building in the Nostr ecosystem?

Hey, PH folks!

I'm currently researching the Nostr ecosystem (a decentralised social protocol) for an article and I was wondering:

  1. Have any of you launched a Nostr-based project on Product Hunt?

  2. What does traction usually look like in this space?

  3. Besides Primal's $1m funding round, are there any other examples of successful fundraising in this ecosystem?

It feels like a fast-moving, developer-driven space, but it s still hard to tell where the real opportunities lie.

✅ POLL: Do you buy the domain first or build the product first?

Let s settle this once and for all.

Do you spend 3 hours trying to find a clever .com before writing a single line of code? Or do you ship the MVP and slap on whatever domain wasn t taken at the time?

Cast your vote and tell us why.
