I am a tech professional who has intimately witnessed the impact one's early surroundings has on the outcome of an individual's life. From living in a middle-class surburban neighborhood & to a urban public housing unit, I was able to clearly see how much one's environment played on an individuals's success. My takeaways, most people are the product of their environment with the greatest influence coming from the unintentional & unsaid lessons one receives. When information, such as career knowledge, is not learned from such unintentional, unsaid realities, one needs to intentionally seek to attain that insight This is why my Cofounder and I set out to build a career exploration platform for students to democratize access to career information!
