I built Pausee after realizing I was spending 8–9 hours a day on my phone, mostly opening Instagram, YouTube and other distracting apps without even thinking about it.
Instead of completely blocking them, Pausee adds a short pause before you open them, giving you a moment to decide if you actually want to continue.
It also has scroll stopping, usage windows and mindfulness prompts.
My screen time dropped to around 3–4 hours. Now I'm making it free for anyone who wants to try it.
