I’m a working captioner and CART provider, and CaptiCraft grew directly out of the challenges I face every day. Live accessibility work demands hours of prep and post‑work—researching terminology, building speaker profiles, organizing materials, cleaning transcripts—and most of that time is completely unbillable. I searched everywhere for tools that could help captioners, court reporters, teachers, and other accessibility pros reclaim those hours. Nothing existed. So I built CaptiCraft to turn complexity into clarity and give us back the time our work has always deserved.
