I’ve been working on SMusic, an open-source music player for Android.
I built it because I wanted a music player that feels fast and simple while still having the features I personally wanted.
Some things I’ve implemented:
Clean and lightweight UI
Background playback
Media notification & lock-screen controls
Equalizer/audio settings
Queue and playback controls
Open-source codebase
Focus on performance and a smooth Android experience
