then all of a sudden it's 3 AM and you're STILL editing, because editing takes sooo painfully long and is also super repetitive.
as a YouTuber myself, i hated how long editing my videos would take... so i wondered if i could just prompt Claude AI to edit out all the bad takes and repeated lines of my video for me...
so a few months ago I was editing one of my own youtube videos (which i still like to do every now and then for personal branding) and I was frankly just so annoyed with how long it was taking me JUST to cut out the bad takes, messups, and repeats. (FYI im actually not a big fan of anything generative AI slop) but i was thinking like "there has to be at least SOME way i can use AI to edit just the rough cut for me, because frankly its all just bad / unuasable takes Im cutting.
So i reached out to one of my coder friends Valentine and asked him if he could make me a plugin that uses Claude to interpret bad takes and cut them straight in premiere pro... fast forward a month, now wer're launchin on product hunt in a week
