Denette Dunn is a sustainability expert and public speaker who has built a strong reputation through her service to the Peoria community. Having previously served as vice mayor, she is now a council member for the Pine District. As a council member, Denette created the Pine Citizens Advisory Committee, designed to address the unique needs of her district. The committee has grown to include more than 100 members, including residents and public officials, showing her ability to engage and unite her community around common goals. Dunn’s professional background spans the public and private sectors. She worked for Republic Services as the Municipal Services Manager for over five years, overseeing over $85 million in municipal contracts across the Southwest.
