About

Senior Platform Engineer by day, solo iOS developer by night. I built BurgerPassport because my partner and I were tracking burgers in a spreadsheet and thought - there has to be a better way. I love travelling the world and hunting down the best burgers wherever I land, from classic beef to vegan and plant-based. When I’m not coding or eating burgers, I play guitar and bass and make original music with my brother. Based in Greenwich, London.

Where did you have your best burger?

One of the reasons I built BurgerPassport is that I love travelling and trying burgers wherever I land.

I want to build a list based on real opinions from people who ve eaten their way around the world. Drop your city below and make the case for it

Can a plant-based burger ever outscore a beef burger?

I log both meat and plant-based burgers on BurgerPassport, and it s thrown up some surprising results. A great vegan burger with the right sauce, bun, and texture can genuinely compete on score with a mediocre beef burger.

But can it ever truly top one? I m genuinely split on this. Curious where the PH community lands, are you a purist, or has a plant-based burger ever blown you away?

Other than the meat, what makes or breaks a burger?

Building BurgerPassport has made me obsessive about what actually makes a great burger. The meat is obviously central but what s the second most important element for you?

Is it the bun? The sauce? The cheese pull? The char? I have my own opinions and I m curious if the PH community agrees. Drop your answer below
