Didn't Hendo already do this in a Kickstarter campaign earlier this year? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/142464853/hendo-hoverboards-worlds-first-real-hoverboard/description There was a lot of commentary on it, and it all seems pretty legit. They have plans to build special skate parks that will work with the magnets.
