I run marketing at Dealect. I spent seven years doing marketing and search for B2B software companies, and then ended up somewhere I never planned on: custom manufacturing. Now most of my week goes to people who build sheds, saunas, fences, and outdoor kitchens, and to the dealers who quote those products all day. At Dealect I look after content and search, and I write the blog. Mostly about how custom products really get priced and sold, because that part is messier than the software brochures let on. One thing I care about more than it probably deserves: a page should just answer the question. If you have to book a call to find out what something costs or how it works, we wrote it badly.
