Get Tasked

What's great

I’m in calls with clients most of the day, and normally I’m just trying to keep track of everything in my head or messy notes 😅

I’ve been using Get Tasked a bit, and it’s actually really helpful. You just have your conversation like normal, and it turns it into tasks, assigns people, and keeps track of what needs to happen next.

It saves me from going back after every call thinking “wait, what did we agree again?” which happens more than I’d like to admit.

It’s simple, doesn’t feel like extra work, and just helps keep things clear. If your day is full of calls and follow-ups like mine, it’s definitely worth a try.

What needs improvement

there’s still room to improve. Sometimes I’d want a bit more control to tweak or edit things quickly, and it could be nicer if everything felt a bit more flexible depending on how different teams work. But overall, it already saves me a lot of time and headspace.

If you’re someone who’s been relying on memory, Slack messages, and random notes to run your day (like I was), it’s definitely worth trying.

vs Alternatives

The reason I actually stuck with Get Tasked is because it fits into how I already work. I don’t have to sit there after every call writing everything up, it just picks up the conversation and turns it into clear tasks, assigns people, and keeps things moving. That’s the part I really needed.

Most tools expect you to be super disciplined with updating everything. This one kind of does that bit for you, which is a big win when your day is back-to-back calls like mine.
