About
David Rubin cdr was born into a world shaped by survival and heroism in Mexico City before relocating to Los Angeles, California. His parents profoundly influenced his early life: his father, a liberator of the Bergen-Belsen DP camps post-WWII, and his mother, a survivor of a Polish concentration camp. These histories of resilience and fortitude instilled in David a deep sense of duty and compassion, which he carried from his youth in NY to his formative years in Los Angeles, where he settled at nine. David pursued higher education at California State University, Northridge, starting in 1980, where he majored in finance.
