I personally believe the word 'cloud' is too wide of a scope given Saas applications qualify as part of it.

I think the best lesson I've learnt is that potential users should be included in every single step of product development. I've made the mistake of coding away alone in my room for a month thinking I know what people want only to learn not everyone thinks the same.

Funnily enough a side project is the only thing that can keep my mind off work. As a founder of a small startup I feel a bit guilty when I'm not working.

I've found that waking up at 5:00 am and starting the day with a workout, before work, works well for me :)

I know it's a bit of a cliché suggestion but I believe Atomic Habits is a must read. Understanding how small changes to ones' daily routine can lead to great results can be a game changer for most.

We launched our product today and are about 12 hours in. What I can say I have learnt so far is the importance of building a community on product hunt before launching. Focus on building genuine relationships with people you wish to support you when the day comes.

We just launched today and have been paying close attention to the ranking of different products and I'd conclude that time did not playa a major role, hunters who clearly had taken the time to build communities are outperforming those that posted earliest or even latest. Though I guess its a good idea to post at exactly midnight PST time, these gives you more time to execute all your launch...
