I have literally tried most of the major DAM products out there... Eagle is simple yet powerful, elegant and well-crafted, and unlike competitors, it updates often. On top of it all, it is affordable. Only caveats: Support is lacking (they did not answer my questions via email) and I miss cloud storage (you can use iCloud though) and collaborative capabilities.
