After several years of VSCode (with a bunch of extensions). I switched to Zed + Claude code + GitButler. I have fewer in-editor features, but it's ok. I rely a lot on some CLI tools (linter, test execution, compiler, builder) with shared configuration between Zed, CLI, Claude Code (and CI). But I gain faster code editing, lower resource usage, and still have the main features in the editor...
