Looks like it addresses two issues. One is a trail of providence, so import now with AI deep fakes. Is what I am looking at real? The other is helping to protect copyright in an era when so many assets are scraped from the web and used without the creator's permission. More cameras are starting to support C2PA, so now is the time to start introducing support into photographers' workflow.
