As a huge lover of my Roomba, this seems amazing. Also as a lover of my Roomba, this seems terrifying. What kind of process is there in place for programming this thing to only mow YOUR lawn and not wander off? How long has the product been in development? What kind of safety features are in place for a spinning blade robot of weed and grass death?

Apple could have engineered their existing plugs to have both this and the original functionality. Neat idea though, I love how there's an entire market dedicated around circumventing design decisions apples has made.

This is an interesting idea - a lot like the chat feature twitch has on its recorded streams now. Is the thought process this would be primarily utilized for live podcasts or will it also have the option to eventually see and add to the conversation that took place on back logged podcasts? I guess I'm interested if this is more of a message board idea or a time stamped conversation that follows...
