I have spent about 30 years in product development, starting out as an industrial designer and ending up running innovation for Behr Paint and a few divisions of Newell-Rubbermaid. I run a product innovation consultancy in California called The Future Mill, and I teach innovation at UC Irvine. I built SortedResearch for product developers who want to link qualitative and quantitative research without paying agency prices for it.
