What's great
This app is something incredible. I’m absolutely impressed. The team solved a long-standing pain point for anyone who records tutorials. After using Screen Studio, regular videos now feel outdated. When I tried to build a timeline myself in an editor, I realized how much work goes into achieving that level of smoothness and ease.
I wouldn’t recommend recording very long videos. Once I recorded a three-hour video, and the Screen Studio file ended up being 40 GB. My cloud storage app detected tens of thousands of files there, which took a very long time to upload.
Thanks to the team — all my clients are happy when they see the updated, polished tutorials.
What needs improvement
It would be great if voice recording and adding specific on-screen annotations were included. That would make it possible to explain instructions more precisely and highlight things with text. But maybe that would be too much, as the app could turn from a tutorial recording tool into a full video editor.
