About

Hey, I’m Daniel - a frontend developer building Cloudy Inspector. I’ve spent the last few years working on production React apps, checkout flows, and UI systems, and I kept running into the same problem: rebuilding UIs meant fighting DevTools more than actually building. Cloudy Inspector started as a small tool to fix that for myself. I’m bootstrapping it, building in public, and using feedback to shape what it becomes next. If you try it and have thoughts, I’d genuinely love to hear them.

How do you currently inspect and rebuild UI components from existing websites?

When rebuilding UI components, I usually end up jumping through DevTools, copying class names, and double-checking spacing over and over again. It works, but it s slow and messy.

I m curious how others approach this:

  • Do you rely purely on DevTools?

  • Do you use screenshots, design tools, or extensions?

  • What part of the process feels the most painful?

Cloudy Inspector - Inspect UI. Extract styles. Rebuild components faster.

Cloudy Inspector is a small dev tool I built to make UI inspection less painful. I got tired of digging through DevTools, copying class names, and remembering spacing while rebuilding components. Cloudy lets you inspect any element, quickly see its class names and spacing (padding and margins), and rebuild components faster. This is an early MVP, and I’m launching to get honest feedback.
