I used to work with afraid.org's free DDNS service, without questioning too much what I was doing... Until I realized that all my domains on Digital Ocean could be updated via API ! It was obvious, sure, but I did not think about that before, so I made this!

Hello there! This was one of my first attempt to give back to the open source community, last year. This is just a free API you can poll to get the current sale tax rate for each Canadian provinces. The code is available on Github, but you can poll the API without installing your own version of it locally! Currently planning some behind the scene improvement, but otherwise totally usable as it is!

Just bought and installed. Just by looking at it I feel I will save many hours on my next project!

I'm really asking out of curiosity but... What is the plus value of doing this as an app (iOS or and Android later) rather then making a web app? I'm probably just too short sighted (!) but I feel like it would attract way more people if it was in a browser without the need to install yet an another app!

I was trying in my spare time to have something like this, just not as an app, as a website. But you did marvelous work here! This is going to fill the gap I though I would fill one day! Congrats on a beautiful app!
