About

My career didn't start behind a keyboard. I spent years operating in high-pressure environments, first as a Navy Corpsman and later as a Radiology Tech. Eventually, I realized I wanted to build systems instead of just working inside them. I learned how to code, embraced the "vibe coder" mindset—using AI as a force multiplier to ship fast—and reinvented myself as an indie developer. I currently have two solo-built software products under my belt: Vokos, a high-pressure AI study agent, and Synaptiq (synaptiqgame.com) which is currently unreleased. I'm new to the software game, but my blueprint is simple: build unapologetic products, ship quickly, and never stop learning.

Is "Polite AI" making us lazy? Why I built an AI study agent that actively roasts you

The current meta for AI tools is all about being a helpful, polite, frictionless "assistant."

But when it comes to education and studying, I think this is actually a massive step backward. When you are cramming for a high-stakes exam, an AI that politely hands you the correct answer gives you a false sense of security. It makes you feel like you know the material when you really just know how to read.

Memorizing isn't learning.

I got so frustrated with this that I decided to build the exact opposite: an "anti-polite" AI. Today I launched Vokos on PH. It s a ruthless study agent equipped with a "BS Detector." Instead of giving you the answers, it forces you to explain concepts in your own words, aggressively audits your responses, and roasts your knowledge gaps until you get it right.

Vokos - Ruthless AI tutor with a BS detector

Vokos isn't your polite AI assistant. It's a high-pressure study agent that turns your PDFs into brutal flashcards, quizzes you in the Interrogation Room, and uses a built-in BS Detector to ensure you actually know the material. Stop struggling
