I needed a platform to collect customer feedback. I was previously using UserVoice, unfortunately their platform was getting too slow/complex for me and they also recently sunset their free plan. I ended up switching to self-hosted Fider, and, not only it was easy to install, but it also runs great and uses very few resources. The interface is a lot cleaner then UserVoice, so it's a lot easier for customers to add feedback.
Selling a self-hosted product, I needed a hosting provider that I can recommend to my customers. With DigitalOcean it is very easy to spin-up a new server, having one of the cleanest and easiest to use UIs I've encountered amongst hosting providers. Not only this, but they also accepted UXWizz as a 1-Click Application on their Marketplace, so customers can now setup my analytics platform in a single click.
Since I started selling UXWizz directly, as a full-time job, I needed a platform that allows me to distribute my digital product without having to worry about handling payments. I started with Gumroad, but ended up switching to Paddle, as they provided more pricing options (I especially wanted the option to have VAT-inclusive pricing).
