fate is a modern data client for React and tRPC inspired by Relay and GraphQL. It combines view composition, normalized caching, data masking, Async React features, and tRPC's type safety.
fate is designed to make data fetching and state management in React applications more composable, declarative, and predictable. The framework has a minimal API, no DSL, and no magic—it's just JavaScript.

I was using fetch based libraries with React and thought: What if we can bring the great ideas from Relay & GraphQL to modern Async React & tRPC? That's why I decided to build fate, and I'm excited to open source it. It comes with an elegant and minimal API to make development easier, and improve user experience.

I've been using Polar to fund open source contributions for [Athena Crisis](https://athenacrisis.com/open-so...) and it's been frictionless and fast. The 1.0 release looks awesome. I hope that long-term it can make more open source projects sustainable.
