I’ve tried forex robot trading, and I agree with a lot of what you mentioned here — there are definitely pros and cons.
What helped me the most was finding a bot that comes with support and risk control, not just something you set and forget. I’ve personally been using KraitosX (from a platform called Auvoria Prime), and what I like is it’s not just a bot they throw at you — they actually teach you how to use it properly, plus everything stays connected to your own broker account, which I prefer for security.
It trades gold (XAU/USD) really well in my experience, and you’re not forced to intervene much unless you want to tweak settings.
Totally agree though — no robot is perfect, and you still need to understand what it’s doing under the hood. I always test in demo first before going live.
