I compared to side-by-side to lovable.dev, bolt.new, v0, etc for a critical project I needed to prototype. None of them came remotely close to spring.new. Spring.new had that agentic intelligence feeling; it just knew everything I needed, as though I had specified in extraordinary detail. Whatever thinking they have on this thing, it's working; I will be using spring.new from now on.

Spotify is an ocean of missed opportunities that leave users disappointed. Where is the music visualizer? Why does it feel like you've DRM'ed my music and removed all extensibility and customization of my experience? Mad props for creating playlist folders, but why can't I take notes on songs? Or add more than 200 chars to a playlist description? For a company that provides most humans their music, you seem to have a vested interest in not taking humanity's intellectual, emotional, and aesthetic experience of music to the next level. For that reason, I'm thoroughly uninspired by your leadership in this space, and look forward to the day when you're replaced by a more innovative alternative such as currents.fm with novel artist incentivization strategies that actually get artists paid and make users excited to give back to artists. Spotify is the old guard. I eagerly await the new guard, for music's sake.

2 viewsThis is an impressive product. I was particularly impressed by the ability to switch between views, from outline<->tree<->task mode. It actually meets a certain need I have where I was plotting out my life goals and breaking down what I can do to achieve them, but was really struggling with what format that goes into. This is the first format I've seen that wants that info! Todoist, begone. This doesn't seem the app for quick, daily, misc, and boring todos--I'll still probably use Google Keep for those.
We'll see how it stands up to daily use.
