About

I have no experience in building apps. I wanted to create a weather app that was easy to understand with no confusing percentages for rain. I have developed simple language to explain to explain rain using popular weather models. I wanted everything in one place. Wind, gusts, tides, pollen, air quality, UV, 365 historical data. Once I was happy with that, I started to think about what else I wanted. So I created a sea distance calculator, Ask Fetch activity planner and storm forecast. I also included basic safety checklist for boaters. It might not be perfect but it's very usable. I was shocked at how many ads the large weather app providers had, some up to 30. I have just one on the home page and that's it. Positive feedback welcomed.

Fetch Weather Local Forecast - Intelligent, jargon-free weather & activity planner.

I had no experience in this field. I always found weather apps too confusing so I decided to build a user friendly app. It strips away complicated data to give you simple, conversational forecasts. Instead of bombarding you with data, Fetch translates into easy-to-understand language. You can ask the app real-world questions like: "Can I picnic at 2pm today?" It features a clean interface. Fetch is designed to help you plan your day instantly. It's not perfect but proud of it so far.
