I build CipherWrite.com, an encrypted writing app for people whose drafts carry risk — ghostwriters under NDA, memoirists writing about people still alive, journalists with sources. Writers weren't just failing to finish; they were writing softer versions of the true thing, because the draft sat readable on someone else's server. So chapters encrypt in the browser with a key I never receive. Lose your passphrase and I genuinely can't recover your book that's the trade-off, and it's the right one. Solo on this. Happy to talk to anyone building in privacy or publishing.
