I m currently validating a SaaS concept called Aurali (https://aurali-design.vercel.app/). It's an AI tool that generates custom mobile onboarding flows and App Store screenshots.

Instead of building the entire backend engine first, I ve set up a landing page to test:

I have been thinking about this recently. When I discover a new SaaS product, I don t only judge it by the design or features. I usually look at whether the homepage explains the problem clearly, if the pricing is simple, if there are real screenshots, and if the team/founder feels reachable.

Sometimes, a simple product with clear messaging feels more trustworthy than a very polished product with vague promises.

What do you personally check before trusting or trying a new SaaS product?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

1. Grammarly proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

2. ChatGPT / Claude mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

3. Figma I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

4. Translator sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

5. Gmail and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts
