Nope. Just nope. If you don't own the list of subscribers, you haven't really built an audience. This is just you doing free marketing for Medium, and locking yourself and your fans into their ecosystem. Big, unequivocal nope.

Looks amazing! I'd buy the crap out of this if there was an iOS version.

Loved it in the early Brandquiz days when it was mostly a quiz/calculator, and I love it even more now. The possibilities are endless! Pros: Beautiful designs, intuitive builder, and insane amounts of flexibility. Cons: None that I can think of.

Don't get me wrong. I've loved Newton from day one, and was devastated when they shut down... But seriously? They didn't even inform their past customers before relaunching? I know Newton was acquired after their horribly handled shutdown, but why should we trust this company again? They've proven time and time again that serving and communicating with customers isn't a priority, and this...

I've been looking for a nicer looking alternative to nvalt for a long time. Just something simple and beautiful for capturing notes quickly. But I need to be able to sync those notes through either Dropbox or iCloud, so hopefully that functionality is on the roadmap. Pros: Super simple, super fast. Helps get ideas out of my head the moment I have them. Cons: Can't set custom storage folder, so...

Literally none of these writers agreed to be listed on this site. None of them even knew about it. Seems like Miguel just scraped their websites for photos and bios, then threw this thing together. Not a good look. Pros: Nothing. Cons: None of these writers agreed to participate in this. It's not real. Might be a flat out scam.

There are some great apps like this for phones, but because I spend all day on my computer, and prefer to write with a real keyboard, I could never really stick with them. But now I can keep track of my journal and emotions and such in one simple interface on my computer. Huzzah! Pros: Finally an app like this for Mac! Plus it's wonderful set of journaling/emotion tracking tools, with great...

Version 2 added two of my biggest feature requests - custom keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to preview entire documents before exporting. Makes me super happy! Pros: Has dramatically sped up my writing process Cons: ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ

First off, this is a great tool. Signed up, played around a little bit, and I already like it more than quite a few competing apps. My big reservation is that it's only available as a web app. Not sure about you guys, but being in a browser is one of the biggest killers of focus for me. I, for one, will never really be comfortable doing my daily writing in a browser. I guess that's a long way...

I love everything about this, except the lack of a text chat. Sometimes it's nice to send links and whatnot back and forth during a call. Still though, great tool! Pros: Super easy to use, nice onboarding experience for clients, and great call quality Cons: No chat functionality

Deckset has become one of my favorite apps ever. As someone who writes almost entirely in markdown and who makes a ton of presentations, this app just makes so much sense to me, and it speeds up the creation and design process to a pretty insane degree. Can't recommend it highly enough. Pros: Now it's both simple AND customizable! I've got so much love for this app. Cons: The only con was that...

Came across this earlier in the day, loved the idea, bought it, tweaked my Alfred workflows a bit, and I'm already super impressed and excited about the possibilities. Thanks @brentsum for putting this all together. Now it's time to double down on deep work!
