YC founders, would you trust AI to handle 90% of your support chats?

me and my co-founder are building an AI agent because at our last startup we just couldn t keep up with support.

we tried every chatbot out there. they all felt robotic. customers hated it.

hiring more people was too slow + too $$$

so we put together this ai chatbot (think intercom fin but deeper) that trains on your old tickets, learns your tone, doesn t hallucinate, and can actually answer stuff like a real support rep.

How do you find your first 100 quality beta testers? (Building a RaaS)

Hey PH community,

I'm at that classic "ready for users but have no users" stage of my journey and would love some advice from those who have been here before.

Offensive security consultant building DefenderIQ

Hi Product Hunters,

I m an offensive security consultant and red teamer who s spent the last years helping companies across the globe identify critical vulnerabilities and understand how real attackers think. I share those experiences at xbz0n.sh through technical write-ups and research.

✅ POLL: Do you buy the domain first or build the product first?

Let s settle this once and for all.

Do you spend 3 hours trying to find a clever .com before writing a single line of code? Or do you ship the MVP and slap on whatever domain wasn t taken at the time?

Cast your vote and tell us why.

AI in your IDE (e.g. Cursor) vs AI in your terminal (Claude Code) — what’s the better flow?

AI coding tools seem to come in two main flavors: IDE-based, like @Cursor and @GitHub Copilot, and terminal-based setups, like using @Claude Code to generate commands, scripts, or entire files. Both have their fans, but which one actually helps you move faster?

Curious what flow people are sticking with long term, and where you see the most gains (or frustrations).

YC deadline in <2 weeks; Who's applying?

If you're applying, reply below with what you're building so we can cheer you on!

If you're doing a startup and not applying, why aren't you applying?

Prompt recipes: from boilerplate to production

AI coding is pretty mindblowing but sometimes it's a headache built on a mountain of bugs. Usually that comes down to issues with how you prompt. So, with that in mind, I'm starting a crowdsourcing discussion so we can all improve our prompts and in turn our apps.

Share the exact prompts that turn blank AI requests into real world code. Show us how you go from generate a REST API to a deployable service in just a few steps.
