Christopher Tisler is a superintendent overseeing drilling fluids engineers and a software technology entrepreneur based in Chico, CA. Originally from Detroit, MI, Tisler enlisted in the US Army at 17 and served as an Infantryman in Friedberg, Germany. The resilience and discipline he learned during his military service laid a strong foundation for his success in the oil and tech sectors. Starting his career as a Rig Hand, Christopher’s persistence and drive have helped him rise to become a leader in drilling fluid technology. Christopher grew up in two places: Detroit, where he lived with his mother, and Bakersfield, CA, with his father. He first entered the oil industry in Michigan, working as a roughneck on drilling rigs.
