I started explicare because I was tired of transcription tools that treat privacy as an afterthought. As someone who works with sensitive audio daily, I needed a solution that keeps data in Europe – not on some US server. So I built explicare: GDPR-compliant transcription with servers in Germany and France, transparent pricing (15¢/min, billed by the second), and a "preview first, pay if satisfied" approach. When I'm not coding, I'm probably testing new AI models or optimizing workflows. I believe good tools should just work – no BS, no dark patterns, no data selling. Based in Berlin.
