My work involves delivering talks online to professionals and adult learners. Previously, it was very difficult to get the class to give any feedback/ask questions/interact as most of my target audience are camera-shy and very self-conscious about speaking up in an online Zoom/Google meet class. Having the option for them to type out their questions/opinions and also to respond in real-time to polls and MCQs from their phones without having to navigate away from the full-screen video on their laptops has increased the interactivity of these classes.
