TaskLoco started in 2010 under a different name. Lawyers warned that without a patent I could be sued out of business — so I filed, and in 2013 was awarded U.S. patent US8548992. In 2015 the company I built to market it, MultiTask123, went bust. The product died a quiet death. When patent renewal came up in 2017, I made a call. Locking up software ideas felt wrong. Letting it expire into the public domain meant anyone could build their own version. Good ideas should help everyone. 💚 In 2024 I quit my day job to take one more shot at the dream.
