Carmen Reid from Alameda, CA, is an educator, researcher, and community leader dedicated to creating meaningful connections between history, education, and civic engagement. Her work is rooted in the belief that knowledge gains its most significant value when shared, applied, and used to strengthen the communities it serves. Across classrooms, museums, archives, and public programs, she has built a career defined by collaboration, purpose, and respect for both the past and the people who carry it forward. Carmen earned her Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School in 2025. There, she focused on policy design, program implementation, and leadership.
