I heard a recommendation that seems right: if you can, take one day on your return to still be on PTO, but work on "transition back" items: everything from personal (laundry) to catching up on email backlog at work.

Honey gives me dopamine hits...even when I don't make the purchase in the end. It resolves FOMO - right upfront!

I have an industrial size box of lollypops (ordered from Amazon) in a spot only I know about in my house. I use them for moments that need pep. (Tootsie roll pops, btw)
