About

Howdy 🤠, I’m a former creative director, designer, and illustrator turned independent developer. You’ll probably know me as the guy that made the Octocat famous, but I’ll be honest — it’s not my best work. I prefer to be known for making “please, no” the default button on a cookie banner before GDPR, giving a dumpster fire Lego kit as a corporate gift, creating a url parallaxer, and painstakingly crafting a spectrum of every hex color that includes the word “beef”. I call it shenanigan driven development. I became a full time independent developer in 2022 and have no regrets. I’ve got new projects and old projects on the horizon and I hope you find at least one of them you like.

GuideGuide for After Effects - A plugin for powerful grids and guides in After Effects

GuideGuide is a plugin that makes it easy to construct columns, build baselines, mark midpoints, and respect ratios, all by manipulating guides in your favorite design tools — now in After Effects. Never kinda basically nearly almost line things up again.

GuideGuide for Sketch - Easy grids and guides in your favorite design tools

GuideGuide is an extension that lets you quickly and easily create grids and manipulate guides with a consistent UI in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch. You'll save so much time and math using GuideGuide that you'll wonder how you ever did design work without it (that's not marketing, it's common feedback).
