I've been told by multiple recruiters/hiring managers not to include a photo of myself in a resume (I used to have one in my PDF resume). Apparently some hiring managers will reject it purely to avoid any appearance/accusation of bias. Something to consider.

All the pictures on your landing page that imply this is a printed book. It's not and that's not evident until you start the purchase process. Given this is a product about landing pages, I can only assume that misleading landing pages is a best practice you cover in the book. Pros: Looks like valuable content Cons: Its not a printed book even though your landing page implies that

This looks really cool. Is there something similar for MacOS? (i.e. for pixel art game sprites)

I have an Omega 8000 series auger juicer. Its better than the centrifugal juicers shown in the video and not at all hard to clean. I'm curious how Juisir stacks up in terms of extraction efficiency. If it can't get the same amount of juice as an auger juicer, the convenience isn't worth it IMO.

I'm usually not big on "collections of resources" but this is really cool. Hope it stays updated. One question: why is Shopular under Development => Mapping? It seems to be just an app. Nothing on their site implies they have an API/SDK.

This looks very similar to Eater's 38 and Heatmap lists[1]. Even the pins are nearly identical. I really like this style for map content. I'm curious if Eater was an inspiration at all for this layout. http://sf.eater.com/maps/best-new-san-francisco-restaurants-heatmap-oakland-berkeley

It'd be great if this camera could create/support HLS streaming (or if Livestream could do this). It would be the killer feature IMO because developers could then create custom apps, sites, Apple TV channels, etc. Can anyone from Livestream chime in on this?

Where I come from we call this "direct mail" :) Anyway, I like what you've built but your pricing seems high compared to Lob and old-school direct mail services. Most are going to be in the range of 40-70¢ per card. You might consider offering bulk/volume pricing OR simply position yourself as the "low volume" or "no minimum" provider in the space. That might be a good niche to tackle.

I like this. I love hackathons and finding ones for certain dates/locations has always been an unsolved problem in my opinion. However, my question (and concern) is: how will you get (almost) all hackathons in there? How will you keep the site from going stale? Hackathons are, by nature, extra-curricular in nature (like side projects). It's really hard to keep something like this going strong...

Please consider putting the location and remote-friendliness of each listing on the page. Having to click-through to each company to find this can be tedious.

I worked for several years in the pro photo industry (sold my company last year). There is definitely a need here. After ShootQ was acquired by Pictage, they really stalled (plus they're prohibitively expensive). I think the big player in this space is HoneyBook. They've raised $32M in VC. Plus, their tool is focused on various types of wedding vendors, not just photographers. How are you...

Not to hijack, but this highlights an issue I've run into with collections & "version 2" products at PH. I have a collection of "Free stock photography & videos" and already have Stock Up in there. Two hunts that point to the same link. I don't want it in my collection twice and I don't want to constantly search for duplicates. All that to say, collections and product updates don't always mix...

If you have the room, I'd recommend getting a food dehydrator instead. You can get one on Amazon for the same price as this kit. You can do jerky, dried fruits and vegetables, fruit leather, and more. Some Nesco models also include sample jerky seasonings (mine did) and accessories.
