What's great
Ask is one of those tools that becomes instantly useful -> no learning curve, no friction. Uploading docs is dead simple, search is blazing fast, and answers are sourced, which is essential when working with teams. Bonus: team workspaces are clean and private by design. As a CTO, it's a no-brainer for internal knowledge sharing.
What needs improvement
We're still early, so a few UI micro-glitches here and there (especially on large PDF previews). Would love to see more integrations soon (Slack, Notion...). But overall: very solid foundation.
vs Alternatives
We needed something fast to set up, usable by non-tech teammates, and focused on internal knowledgem not another AI chatbot.
Most tools out there are either too generic, too complex, or tied to specific platforms. Ask stood out by being document-first, secure by design, and actually usable in daily workflows. It's not trying to be flashy, it's just effective.
