About
I started writing code in 1992 — C, C++, and Lisp — for telecom companies and large enterprises in France. A decade later, my work shifted to network & security engineering, and I became an infrastructure architect dealing daily with fragmented security appliances: one for the firewall, one for the proxy, one for URL filtering. That bothered me. So I built something that does it all in one. That project became CacheGuard Gateway — a free, open-source UTM I've developed solo alongside my consulting career for 20+ years. No investors, no team, just a conviction that enterprise-grade security should be accessible to everyone. Based in France. CacheGuard is my life's work. I'm only getting started.
