Hey all, excited to share this weekend hack project with the world. I wanted to improve upon the existing space for looking up information about IP addresses and ASNs (ISPs). The backend is written in Rust and pulls BGP data every 8 hours from the RIPE RIS project to build up a routing table and also adds geolocation information. The frontend is using React and Tailscale.

IP Guide is a fast, free, and easy to use service for finding information about IP addresses, networks and autonomous systems (your ISP!). It has a free API and bulk downloads for mapping a network to an ASN and a list of all known autonomous systems.

As someone who has been building webhook products for the last 7 years, it’s awesome to see a product like Convoy come onto the market and make it easier for people to deal with webhooks. So excited to see where the Convoy team takes this over time!
