As a gamer, I reminisce about my high school days when my friends and I played games together using Ventrilo for communication. Now, on Discord, we've reunited. Missing the channel announcing feature from Ventrilo, I built this bot (KITT) to add that nostalgic touch to our gaming sessions. KITT has grown into a much larger project since then, and is now serving over 3,000 Discord communities....

It's tough to get an idea off the ground these days, with all the design decisions, material and collateral that need to be crafted in order to lead with a great first impression. I'm excited for Parade and all of the ideas stuck on the runway that it will unlock. Looking forward to it!

Figma does not support a native way to monitor the application state in the background (yet?), but, it does drop some state files on your machine. This application periodically reads those files checking for updates and combines some information to determine whether Figma is in the foreground, what the current active file is, and a share link to that file.
