I have only been using Willow Voice (both Mac and iOS) for two days, and it is already edging out a competitor's product I've used for 6 months. After joining their Slack community, I am very impressed to see how quickly they respond to user feedback.
vs Alternatives
I have used MacWhisper, TalkTastic, and Wispr Flow; the free version of each. I like that Willow Voice includes the Willow Assistant feature in the free version for initial evaluation. As mentioned earlier, I am only two days into my evaluation, but I'm extremely pleased so far. This really looks like a keeper!
Does it reliably auto-punctuate and fix grammar in context?
It is doing a very good job in handling punctuation and grammar as well as leaving out filler words. The Willow Assistant feature seems to work very well to rephrase raw draft material into something more usable.
How easy is setup and onboarding for first-time users?
Although the onboarding had a few more steps than some competitors' products, I felt it did a great job using those steps to create the initial settings.
How well does it integrate with Gmail, Slack, and Notion?
It is working well with all of the apps in which I have tried it, both on the Mac and iOS versions.
